Damaged Chevrolet cars from Korean insurance auctions — every record we hold, kept as it was filed: photographs where photographs exist, a VIN where a VIN was stated, and nothing invented in between.

Counts from the registry database · shares computed over the 610 Chevrolet records — the damage-stamped share over the 175 an assessment has landed for, where a lot with no stamp is a lot whose listing stated none. The remaining 435 have not been assessed at all, which is not the same as clean.

About this file

This is the Chevrolet shelf of the registry: 610 records of Chevrolet cars that have passed through Korean insurance auctions, spanning model years 2014 to 2025 across 11 models — from the impalas and camaros that dominate the file to single-copy rarities. Many Korean-market Chevrolets were built in Korea, in the former Daewoo plants, and carry KL VIN prefixes. A Chevrolet on this block is often a Korean-built car, not an American import — the VIN says which. Each record keeps what the auction filed and nothing more: the photographs where photographs were taken, the odometer reading, the fuel and displacement, the damage class the listing itself stated, and — on 274 of these cars — a VIN that can be read, decoded and checked against the car's paper trail.

We do not sell these cars, and we do not fill gaps with guesses. A record with no damage stamp is a record whose listing stated no damage class — not proof of a clean car. Prices are absent because we hold no reliable price data, and we would rather show you nothing than a number we cannot source. The top of the file keeps moving: live Chevrolet lots surface here while the hammer is still up — one is on the block right now — and move into the permanent record when it falls.
